Chris and I headed up to Ryan's house to pick up the beast. It was just outside of Greenville, SC.
After processing the transfer paperwork and adapting to the subtleties of the car, Chris was able to get it going and on the road.
First Impressions:
Boy this thing is LOUD!! No Cat and a Race muffler provide a deafening symphony of KL-ZE bad-assness as we accelerate down I-85 tpwards Atlanta.
The Shifter is wonky (read: unable to tell what gear you are in, even while in gear! ) and it seems to have some stuttering at high RPMs. It smokes a bit as well upon acceleration. It could also use a bit of a paint job, but we'll take care of all of this before next season.
Chanko also left us some nice Mazda Goodies. Some of which Chris nor I have ever seen before.
This is going to be a fun little ride-- so stay tuned as we prep it! _________________ ~Perry
